There are also pediatric pads available for this unit at this link.

The Philips Heartstart FR 2+ AED has come to be a trusted tool of professional responders and designated response teams in the workplace and public settings.  Its clean, uncluttered design is optimized for fast, efficient operation, and rapid delivery of defibrillation therapy. It is one of the most advanced AEDs on the market but with the simplicity to be used by anyone.

The design, based on years of research, has been refined by Philips human factor experts and extensive user testing with the full range of responders from healthcare professionals to the average citizen.

However intuitive an AED may be, there is no substitute for good training on these units. The training for this unit does not take long and has already been taken by thousands. The Philips FR-2+ is one of the sought after units on the market.

The natural voice presents concise instructions in a loud, clear voice with text prompts appearing on the large LCD screen. This unit also performs a self-test to ensure the pads and batteries are still good to be used and it will make a loud “triple-chirp” if the unit is not ready for use.

This product is no longer being carried by MME. Our recommended Philips AEDs are the HeartStart FRx AED and the HeartStart Onsite AED. For suggestions of units or accessories we recommend and support, please call one of our representatives.
