The Recertified Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor is an advanced, touch screen monitor featuring bright, vivid colors with minimal knobs or buttons for ease of cleaning—perfect for general care floors within the hospital and also for surgery centers and other ambulatory care offices.

This unit has SureBP® Non-invasive Blood Pressure, Covidien SpO2, and SureTemp Plus Thermometer but there are over 30 different combinations of parameters for this unit. Description

The unit available here is the Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor 71WT-B which offers NiBP, Nonin SpO2, and SureTemp Plus but the information below is applicable to every configuration of this unit as well. The Connex Spot Monitor is designed to simplify and expedite procedures while providing accurate vital signs measurements. The easy to use touchscreen displays spot checking, interval monitoring, and custom scoring across the patient population. The Connex Vital Signs Monitor connects wirelessly to the EMR and instantly sends vitals to the patient chart from the point of care for improved efficiency. A Connex Scoring App on-device calculator allows the upload of up to three protocols the facility uses such as NEWS, MEWS or other calculations. The monitor displays the facilities recommendations based on the patient scoring results to assist clinicians to make informed care decisions quickly.

Standard Features

Non-Invasive Blood Pressure In 15 seconds, the Connex Spot Monitor can determine blood pressure using the oscillometric method. The unit will display both the systolic and diastolic measurements along with MAP and the calculations of the averages of these measurements. The Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor is designed to be used for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

Available Options

Temperature SureTemp technology is advanced enough to predict where the patient’s temperature will be and this is the default setting. The secondary setting is Direct Mode which offers continuous temperature measurements.

Pulse Oximetry SpO2 and pulse rate are monitored in real-time as long as the finger sensor stays attached. This gives you more readings of the pulse rate, the standard NiBP reading will still occur every 15 minutes. The three types of SpO2 sensors available are listed below:
