The Ventway Sparrow ventilator stands apart from other transport ventilators by combining advanced ventilation capabilities with an ultra-lightweight, field-ready design.

 

Weighing approximately 1 kg (~ 2.8 pounds), the Sparrow is significantly lighter than other transport ventilators on the market. The Sparrow is designed to be brought to the patient, instead of requiring the patient to be brought to the ventilator. For disaster preparedness and emergency storage, optional non-rechargeable batteries offer a 5-year shelf life and provide up to 3 hours of runtime. Durable power cords, FAA-approved mounting options, and rugged construction make the Sparrow well-suited for demanding transport environments.

 

The Ventway Sparrow provides an attractive budgeting profile, including a low capital expense cost and a low cost of operation. PMs are only required by the OEM once every 3 years, and many maintenance tasks (like changing the ventilation filter) is designed to be done by you, not requiring a biomed.
