The Laerdal Adult Stifneck Select Collar works as a single piece, that requires no assembly, the Stifneck Select collar is an easy choice for patients requiring spinal immobilization. Strong quality and molded directions on the back of the collar mean that providers will always be able to administer proper sizing and application. The locking mechanism ensures symmetrical adjustments, and gives providers the peace of mind the collar is locked safely into place

  2. Adjust to correct size

  4. Place on patient

Practical care

The Stifneck Select has an oversized tracheal opening for advanced airway procedures and pulse checks, as well as a rear panel opening for c-spine palpitations, ventilation, drainage and visualization of the neck. The Stifneck Select performs well regardless of weather conditions, due to its in-molded Velcro® fastenings. Because the collar packs flat it is also spatially efficient.

Pediatric Stifneck Select

For pediatric patients there is a specially sized Pediatric Stifneck Select collar with 3 different sizing options. This enables providers to adapt care to any patient. The Stifneck Select Pediatric is also fitted with a pink strap for easy recognition in an EMS bag. All of Laerdal’s collars are latex free, radiolucent, MRI and CT- scan compatible.
