Ventilator Market Update: EOL for ReVel

On September 23, 2024, Vyaire announced the cessation of production for certain ventilators, including the ReVel, VELA, and AVEA. In a significant move within the medical equipment industry, Vyaire Medical has officially announced its decision to sell its Ventilation Business Unit to ZOLL Medical Corporation. This transition, approved by the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, marks a major development in the respiratory care and critical support industry. Vyaire’s flagship ventilators, including the Bellavista, LTV series, and 3100 HFOV, will all continue production as Zoll and Vyaire are working to minimize disruption in product availability. Accessories and disposables for the ReVel are available for purchase only while limited supplies last. The transaction is set to enhance Vyaire’s ventilation product lineup under ZOLL’s structure and acute care expertise.
