Description

The HeartSine Samaritan PAD 450P AED is one of the most technologically advanced AEDs on the market. The 450P prompts you both visually and audibly with clear, calm instructions from the beginning of the event, starting with “Adult Patient” or “Pediatric Patient” depending on which Pad-Pak is equipped. There are other prompts to instruct users throughout the entire rescue process as well as a “CPR Rate Feedback” which is a gauge on the front of the machine correcting or encouraging the user as they do compressions. The 450P is one of the most efficient AED Defibrillators on the market due to the SCOPE waveform, a new algorithm that uses more variables to ensure the correct amount of joules are used. This helps to prevent Post Cardiac Arrest Syndrome. This algorithm is able to adjust on the fly to the patient’s impedance which is determined using their age, weight, and gender. There is an 8-year warranty on this New Biphasic AED from the manufacturer, Stryker Physio Control, and the Pad-Paks are good for 4 years (which contain both pads and batteries) and this effectively gives you the lowest cost of ownership through the intended life of the AED. This warranty is a strong one, considering the IP rating of 56 for the unit which indicates that dust nor water will be able to permeate the unit’s surface.
