In a combination with a Saturation Pattern Detection (SPD) alert, this technology allows for the early detection of respiratory complications and, therefore, a sooner intervention. Moreover, this Bedside Monitor is the 1st and only device on the current market that has obtained the FDA clearance for a motion-tolerant pulse oximetry and compliance with ISO 80601-2-61. It ensures accurate assessment of patient SpO2 and pulse rate status at all times and under various degrees signal interference including low perfusion, patient motion or noise, avoiding dropouts or delays. As a result, the Nellcor™ Bedside Respiratory Patient Monitoring System comprises a modular design that allows for on-site Monitor upgrades that serve to add new features and parameters. To ensure operation convenience, the Monitor is assembled with a large, color touchscreen that allows for a fast and easy control over unit functions and screen modes. It provides a comprehensive information on monitoring progress as well as up to 3 alarm conditions simultaneously.
SatSeconds Alarm Management
Customizable Monitor alarms include visual and audible signals for high/low saturation, pulse rate and others. The SatSeconds alarm management function allows for a smoother and much more efficient SpO2 monitoring. This function not only allows for upper and lower alarm limits setting, but also for setting the monitoring limits of %SpO2 level below the selected lower alarm limit and above the selected upper alarm limit for a period of time before an audible alarm sounds. The given technology helps for a more efficient use of Monitor capabilities and allows distinguishing between clinically significant desaturations and transient events.
48-hour trend data storage capacity in a combination with excellent unit connectivity ensure a true exploitation flexibility. The Monitor is compatible with and connects to Vital Sync™ and Nellcor™ Oxinet III Central Monitoring Stations, Philips Vuelink Module, Nurse Call and PC via wired serial ports or wireless Ethernet.
