    FAQs

WHAT MAKES TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT DIFFERENT FROM HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT?

Transport medical equipment needs to be rugged, and more compact than its hospital or clinical counterpart. On a truck or in the air, minimizing the size and weight footprint of each device is critical, and directly affects care quality and transport costs. Transport medical equipment must also withstand debris and fluids, as well as impact and rough handling from emergency situations and uncontrolled environments.

CAN I TRUST RECERTIFIED CAPITAL EQUIPMENT FOR MY EMS SERVICE?

We can’t speak for other distributors, but at MME recertified equipment, such as defibs, IV pumps, vents, stretchers, and more, is a cost-effective and dependable alternative to new equipment. At MME, all our recertified equipment exceeds OEM standards and calibration tests for performance and accuracy. All recert equipment ships patient-ready with a full biomed report of calibration and testing. Read more about our recertified solutions here.

HOW DO I DETERMINE THE BEST EQUIPMENT FOR MY SPECIFIC EMS BUDGET?

Each organization has different needs for their specific situation. Working directly with an MME rep allows you to custom-build a package from many options, for your current budget. Instead of forcing you toward one solution or locking you into an expensive cost-of-ownership, we work with you, even offering trade-ins for old equipment. Just the way it should be.

WHAT ARE THE LATEST TRENDS AND ADVANCEMENT IN EMS MEDICAL EQUIPMENT?

The latest advancements include wireless data transmission, smaller & lighter equipment, OEMs moving to software-based updates, and equipment designed with faster startup times in mind.

WHAT FINANCING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ACQUIRING MY CAPITAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT?

We work with EMS organizations of any size for financial support. We offer installment plans, rental programs, cost-of-ownership analysis, trade-in credit for old or unsupported equipment, grant assistance, and much more.
